Lawyers Recruitment Committee

The Lawyers Recruitment Committee aims to enable the Legal Vice Presidency to maintain the most appropriate skills mix through the organization and execution of a transparent and efficient recruitment function. The Lawyers Recruitment Committee is responsible for the recruitment of all legal staff (regular and fixed-term of 12 months or more) and non-Administrative and Client Support (Non-ACS) staff positions within the Legal Vice Presidency.

Internship Opportunities

The Legal Vice Presidency does not have an official internship program. However, excellent candidates are considered for short term internship positions provided that there is a clear business need and rationale for such internship. Candidates must input their coordinates and curriculum into the World Bank Internship Program database through the World Bank's external website (see link at the end of this section). In conformity with Bank-wide policies, the Legal Vice Presidency only accepts applications of candidates that are already enrolled in a full-time legal study program (either pursuing a basic law degree, or a Master's degree or PhD) with plans to return to school in a full-time capacity after the internship is complete.
