Job Description – Project Associate
The Project Associate (PA) is an entry-level position with significant growth potential. PA’s work under the direction of Project Managers (PM) on our Project Delivery teams. PA’s are responsible for the implementation, integration and support of AgileAssets software solutions for new and existing clients, both domestically and internationally. PA’s must be able to follow the direction of the PM’s, as well as learn and understand how our software works and how to adapt our software to meet the needs of our various clients. AgileAssets project work is typically done on the client project site and as such the Project Associate may be required to travel or relocate.

Key responsibilities may include:
Participate and/or lead all facets of AgileAssets commercial off the shelf (COTS) implementations including project plan development, software/business process reconciliation, software setup and configuration, installation, legacy data conversion, integration and interfacing, training, system validation, “go live”, post implementation support, and client relations.
Assist in defining reports, business processes and end-user documentation.
Document issues and risks associated with specified project and maintain project schedule.
Communicate status and work required of project staff, includes milestones, effort planned, actual effort expended.
Execute assigned duties to meet budget, schedule and quality objectives.
Interact with clients, partners, and team members in a positive and resolution oriented manner.
Ability and willingness to travel and/or relocate to client sites as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering or Computer Science/MIS.
Experience or focus on transportation systems including maintenance, pavement, bridges, fleet and facility management a plus.
Strong interest in computers, software and data.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well with all levels of an organization.
Self-starter, energetic and motivated contributor.
Desire to partner with clients to help them manage their business better using our software tools.
Prior experience in transportation industry; local Public Works or state Department of Transportation a plus.
Consulting experience a plus.

Preferred Skill Requirements
Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of database concepts; SQL, experience with Oracle a plus.
Microsoft Project a plus.
